Celebrate National Read Across America Day at The Cranford Theater!

Join us on Sunday, March 1st at 10:00 AM as we celebrate National Read Across America Day with a family favorite on the big screen.

In honor of National Read Across America Day, The Cranford Theater and Downtown Cranford invite you and your family to a special screening of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax!

Before the movie, our friends from The Cranford Bookstore will join us for a live reading of a Dr. Seuss story--making this a truly magical morning of books, movies, and imagination.

March 1, 2026 10:00 AM

This is a complimentary event! Instead of purchasing a ticket, we kindly ask each guest to donate a book to help support a local school. We are accepting new or gently used books for children in 2nd--6th grade.

Pajamas are encouraged--come cozy and comfy for a fun, family-friendly morning at the movies!

We're so excited to once again collaborate with Downtown Cranford and Cranford Bookstore to celebrate reading, storytelling, and community together.

If something comes up and you can’t attend, please let us know—this helps us open seats for other members of our community who would love to join us.
